Will GMOs end world hunger?
NO. University studies show that GMO crops produce significantly lower yields than natural varieties.
Furthermore, GMOs are patented and make it illegal for farmers worldwide to save seed as they have done for thousands of years.
Won't Measure H increase taxes and bureaucracy?
NO. Measure H will not create additional costs for enforcement because the Agricultural Commissioner already inspects every shipment of agricultural products that enter Mendocino County. Only Mendocino County voters can increase taxes.
